Batches for the Training Program in Machine Learning and IoT-based Automations are scheduled to commence on 15th January 2024

Mandi, 2nd January 2024: The Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at Indian Institute of Technology Mandi in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) is set to launch multiple training programs from 15th January 2024. These free of cost programs aim to provide valuable skills and knowledge to participants, fostering professional development and contributing to the overall advancement of education and vocational training in the region.
Speaking about the training programs being offered by the institute, Prof. Tushar Jain, Head, Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), IIT Mandi, said, “These programs are being sponsored by HPKVN, Shimla in collaboration with IIT Mandi and will be a great opportunity for the youth of Himachal to experience studying at IIT Mandi under the guidance of senior faculty and get practical exposure on advance IIT‘s Labs along with Placement support.”
The courses are open to Engineering, BCA, MCA, ITI, Polytechnic, Teachers, Trainers and Working Professionals. The duration of the course will be one month. The registration for these free offline courses have already started and will continue till 12th January 2024.
The focus of these programs will be on soft skills, English speaking, interview preparation, personality development, group discussions, entrepreneurship skills, and startup support will be provided for holistic development and career success of the candidates.
Certification in Machine Learning Program
In this certification program, the student will learn Mathematical Foundations, Python Programming, Statistical Foundations and Visualization Data, Visualization and Pre-processing Machine, Learning and Applications and others areas.
